Hello, and thank you for visiting my site. My name is Mike Hill and I’m a local, born and raised in Pearl River, Rockland County. My two best friends, adopted rescue dogs Willie & Jake, are to your right. I've
spent most of my adult life (over 20 years) training and caring for dogs, and recently
moved to New City to realize my dream of starting a professional training, dog walking,

My view on dogs is pretty simple - I love dogs and I continue to be amazed by the
positive impact they have on our lives. I don’t think we can ever learn enough about
dogs and the very special bond that exists between human and dog. As a dog behavior
specialist, I am dedicated to improving the balance between dogs and their owners, and
working to reinforce positive change in dogs who may exhibit a wide range of extreme
behavior – anything from insecurity to severe ‘red zone’ aggression. I firmly believe that every dog deserves to be with an owner they love, and every person should have a dog, and that you really need to understand the personality of both dog and owner/family – and oftentimes you have to work with both – to ensure they’re a good fit. A dog’s love is earned and unconditional, and so should the owner’s.
My number one goal at Dog Hill is to complement dog ownership with proven and positivebehavioral reminders. Moreover, to provide the highest quality of service to the dogs in ourcare; to give dogs what they instinctually need; to help dogs achieve happy, balanced andlong lives; AND to make sure we provide a first class service to you, their dog parents.I have operated a successful dog walking, sitting and training business for the past severalyears, and I want to offer the same high standard of service to the dog owners of New Cityand Rockland County.
